New Dimension Cattle Co. .::. Red Angus Sires
Red Wildman Chivas 17M
Chivas was the bull we knew we had to buy for a walking bull when Abraham Land and Cattle decided to sell him at the 2005 Olds All AI'ed Sale. Derek originally purchased him at the 2002 Olds All AI'ed Sale for $4100 as a calf from Wildman Livestock. We watched this young sire develop and work his heart out over the next 3 years. We were short a bull in 2003 and used him to clean up a few cows. Wow great problem to have! The resulting females are all still here at NDCC and the bull calves were excellent. The 2 top bull calves we had in 2004 were Chivas sons and the best one was out of our great donor cow 140L. Since arriving here in 2007 we had our first set of calves and 2 of the top bull calves are out of our donor cow 44K and another great cow 59K. The heifer calves once again are all staying for replacements. His great father needs no introduction "Fargo" greatest contribution has been the excellent set of daughters he has out there in the industry working everyday. Red Wildman Doll 304H is a CAA Elite Dam who sold in 2006 through Red Roundup to Ringstead Ranch for $5900. Rick Cones of Ringstead Ranch was runner up on Chivas the day we bought him. She has daughters out working at KBJ, Ringstead, many purebred operations and another son at Strawberry Fields.
Chivas is a breeding machine, moderate in size, athletic with great muscling and excellent feet and legs. Chivas has turned into one of the most consistent breeding bulls.
